Adobe Flash (formerly Macromedia Flash) is a software thathas taken the web by storm, everywhere you look you'll see some sort of Flash object, be it a music player, a game, an animation, an advertisment, anything really. Adobe Flash Player is the program that plays the object but it's more than likely that the object was authored in Adobe Flash CS3 (and more recently CS4). What you first need to understand is that Flash is not an easy program to use, it's not one of these "get your application up and runningin a matter of minutes" programs. Its a time-commitment and practice Program, the clue to this is the fact that it's made by Adobe, purveyors of industry standard software. It's a very powerful software where you'll soon feel you can do literally anything. This Guide has 5 Sections to it, each section aims to briefly introduce you to an aspect of the program. This tutorial is not directive, you wont have an end product but can be used as a point of reference, please read through it before you attempt anything. Click Next below or choose a relevant section from the menu above to proceed.
