Page 1 of 5 One of my main uses of Flash is to create Database Driven Flash Website Front Ends. Basically a swish Flash website that retains all the database links that a normal website would have through PHP and MySQL. It's pretty easy. For this tutorial I'll try and publish everything I know on the matter so you dont even have to have any previous knowledge of either AS2, PHP or MySQL. I'll cover the three most common aspects of database connectivity - displaying information, changing information and adding new information, all you'll need for a successful database driven website. |
